This event will be held on Saturday, Aug 1 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Kendra from sup 413 will be hosting the event. Kendra is a WPA-certified Paddleboard Instructor and E-RYT500 Yoga Teacher. The class will take place in Belchertown MA. Cost~ $100 full rental. $75 byo board Class will consist of a full paddle board lesson from ground to water. Kendra will show you how to hold your paddle and row, how to stand on your board and how to get into the water. She will assist everyone in getting onto the water. This will be a very hands-on experience. You’ll have time to explore the water and get comfortable on your board. Kendra will be there the whole time making sure that everyone feels safe and comfortable. After we have time exploring and playing on the water, Kendra will lead us through a gentle yoga class with savasana where she will serenade us with her ukulele. You must have all of your own paddle board equipment to choose this option. * This event will start on time. Please arrive few minutes early to ensure you find parking and get settled. * If you are choosing the BYO board option you must set up be ready to be on the water at 10 am * The exact location will be provided the day before the event to ensure the best water conditions Things to Bring: * Towel * Sunscreen * Change of clothes * Bugspray * Water * Snacks Cost: * Full rental plus 3 hour experience ~ $100 * Bring Your Own Board Option plus 3 hour experience ~$75 Equipment needed for the bring your own board option is as follows.: paddleboard (if inflatable, pump, too), paddle, leash, and USCG PFD (life vest). ** on their board, they need a place to connect to the anchors - it can be on the nose OR tail (leash attachment spot on tail works just fine! Every board SHOULD have that, bare minimum.) ** they cannot use their deck bungees to connect to the anchors.
