Chair yoga at The Hive is an upbeat class set to fun music. This class utilizes modified yoga poses to provide stretching and increase flexibility while seated in a chair. This is a chair based strength building class using resistance bands. We’ll use bands to strengthen the muscles in our arms, back, legs and core. Training with Resistance bands help increase muscle strength, improve flexibility and range of motion, increase stability, and improve bone health. This class will be practiced from the chair. We will use intervals of work and rest making this class accessible to everyone.
