Service Description

Strength for Life with weights combines stretching and strength building. Strength training has many benefits including increasing bone density, improving sleep, lowering stress levels, and improving heart health. Class starts with a full body stretch followed by upper body, core, and lower body sequences using hand weights to build strength. Class ends with balance work and a gentle yoga cool down. Multiple options for each pose/movement are provided to meet various abilities. This class is a combination of standing and floor work.
